3-tier design

Just wondering if this is a 3 tier design (in 3 projects?)? And if not , are you thinking about doing that? I have been looking into netTiers and they are a bit too HUGE! I maby would´t whant to start of with that huge desing, but i would probably whant to have the option in the future to be able to advance the architecture with separated layerd design.

Depends on what you consider 3 tiers. We are three logical layers, but from a project perspective, we only really generate one layer. We generate a business layer, which has data access built into the entities - no seperate layer. If you use stored procedures, we do generate a database project, and you could consider your bottom layer to be your database, but I don't think I would.

We do no UI (or top layer) generation. That is up to you. The code works with web apps, windows apps, windows services, and web services as a top level interface, and you would create that yourself.

Hope this helps.
