LINQ .net 3.0

Just wondering if you are thinking of (or using) anything from the .net 3.0 framework like LINQ (e.g querying collections)? What is your position on that?

We are looking into how we can leverage LINQ and potentiall WCF in the framework, but currently have no solid plans at this point. We want to stay on .NET 2.0 for at least the next release, and then we will re-evaluate .NET 3.0 at that point. At some point, we will have LINQ support of some type, we just aren't sure what that will look like yet.

Nice... WCF sounds very interesting. But could you tell us what is going to be in the next release and when we could expect it? It would be great if you put up a "Road Map" for the releases you see in the next future!

Thanks for a awesome product! ;-)

We don't have a timeframe for 3.0, but the next major feature is validation support built in. We are working on a road map, and once we get that done, we will post it.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate it!
